Aimee Pham is a Vietnamese American writer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles.
In 2022, Aimee wrapped production on House Rules, a short film she wrote and co-directed about young adulthood, sexuality, and overcoming generational and cultural differences. It premiered at the Seattle Asian American Film Festival, where it won the Audience Choice Award for Favorite Narrative Short. The film has screened at numerous film festivals across the United States and was screened at the Brooklyn Museum in May 2024 in honor of Asian American Heritage Month.
She most recently was the writers’ assistant for I LOVE LA, an upcoming HBO comedy series created by and starring Rachel Sennott, and previously worked in development with Lulu Wang and Dani Melia at their production company Local Time (The Farewell, Expats).
